Understanding Wedding Etiquette

When a couple get engaged, there are many things to think about.  It can be very overwhelming as well as confusing to plan a wedding especially if you don't understand proper wedding etiquette.  As a wedding planner in Santa Barbara (http://www.myelitewedding.com/), I recently blogged about this topic.  Here is an example of the top wedding etiquette concerns:
Who should walk you down the aisle?  The tradition is to have your father walk you down the aisle, but the bride can choose whomever they want.

How to Add Color to Your Wedding Plans

White and black wedding themes are now a thing of the past.  Although still a traditional theme, many couples want to add color schemes to their plans.  Engaged couples are now taking control of their wedding plans and usually want to add personal touches to the overall look.  As one of the leading wedding planners in Los Angeles, I love this idea.  Click here to visit my website.

Weddings are an event of any size that celebrates love and life.  Many people see black and white as dull colors that do not reflect the overall wedding experience.  Don't get me wrong, black and white themes can be extremely elegant, but why not add some colored touches? Colored themes are now more common than black and white themes.  Even if you hire a wedding planner like myself to create a beautiful event for you, there is no harm in giving your wedding planner suggestions for a pop of color.  Is it your wedding after all.

The Latest Wedding Invitation Trends

Are you planning a wedding in 2014? If so, it is time to start thinking about wedding invitation design.  Many engaged couples use the wedding invite as a way to express their creativity.  Some choose to go traditional while other choose to go with elaborate designs and bold colors.  Neutral tones are the best choice for the traditional couple.  These will give your invitation an elegant feel while not straying far from tradition.  With a neutral color palette you can go a little bit crazier with fonts or patterns.

As one of the best wedding planners in Los Angeles, I know first hand how important wedding invitations are.  Read more about this on my blog.
